You will be required to have a Phillips screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, and an adjustable wrench or standard socket set.???  Two adults are required to set up the electronic basketball game.
Electronic Shot Clock Instructions:

Using the electronic scorer - Plug adapter into the back of the scoring unit.???  The adapter is suitable for 110/120v household current.???  Make sure the switch in the back of the unit is in "play" position, not "test."???  If unit has a reset button, the scoring unit will shut off after five minutes of non-use.???  Restart the game by pressing the reset button.

Game Operation - Before playing, put switch on back of the unit to the test position.???  Put ball slowly into the top of the basket.???  Should read only when ball is halfway or less into the basket.???  If there is no reading on the scoring during this test, move the unit to a different light source.???  The unit should not be in direct sunlight or halogen lighting.???  Repeat test from the bottom of the basket for the lower sensor.

Scoreboard - The scoreboard lights up when game is plugged in.???  Time will show "30" for the time and "00" for the score.???  To begin, player one starts the match when the first basket is made.???  Time will start counting down from 30.

Scoring - Each basket player one makes during the first 20 seconds scores two points.???  During the final 10 seconds, each basket scores three points.???  Scoreboard will sound each time a basket is made.

The electronics will fully shut down if not used for 5 minutes.???  Unit will not start until you press the reset button on the back of the scoring unit.???  There may be some types of shots that will not score every time.???  If two balls pass through rim at the same time, it may not register both shots.???  The unit may also register a shot when a ball passes quickly in front of the rim.

Additional Warnings:
??? 1???  - Do not climb on game or hang from rim or net.
??? 2???  - Do not dunk the ball.
??? 3???  - Do not climb into ball return ramp (it will not support body weight).
??? 4???  - Do not set game near a water source.
??? 5???  - Do not take shots from more than ten feet.
??? 6???  - Use only the manufacturer power supply.
??? 7???  - Do not lift or move game without checking for overhead electrical devices.
??? 8???  - Do not face the unit towards sunshine or halogen lamps.
??? 9???  - Do not use this unit outdoors.
10 - Do not place in dirty/dusty conditions.
11 - Do not touch the electronic eyes unless they become dirty.???  If dirty clean with a dry cotton swab.

Please not that the pictures are not the actual size of the part.
Attach the plastic feet P19 to the base tube P4 and P6 using screw H5.???  The feet will only fit one direction on the tubing.???  Building a strong sturdy base is very important so make sure the plastic feet are attached securely.
Place the support tube P3 in-between the P1 and P2.???  At this time, attach the P1 outside of P2 and P2A using bolts H2 and four washers H10.???  This is an extremely important step, the joint of P1 and P2 are pivot points for the unit to fold up into storage position.???  Be sure to have one washer go between the tubes at the pivot point.???  P2 and P2A have the ring clips attached to them.???  These need to face the center of the unit.???  Snap together base tube P4 with the U-Tube P5.???  Attach tubes P2 and P2A to the other ends of the P4 tubes.
Next attach the other base tubes P6 to P1 along with supports P10 using bolts H1, washers H10, and nuts H11.

Attach tubes P7 and P8 to each side.???  Attach supports P10 to form an "X" in the back of the unit.???  One will go on the inside of the upright tubes and one on the outside of the upright tubes.???  Be sure not to cross the "X" tubes.???  The bottom bolts are H1 and lock nuts H11.???  The top end of the "X" also includes support pipe P9 on the inside of the unit.???  The top of the "X" uses bolts H4 with four washers H10 and lock nuts H11.
Snap on the top tubes P11 to tubes P8.

Slide the top of the ramp net over the tubes P11 and insert end caps P20.???  See Figure 5.

Assemble basketboard as shown.???  Use caution when attaching infrared unit, do not over tighten screws!
First attach the rim P14 to the basketboard using bolts H2, washers H10, and lock nuts H1l.

Now attach the scoring unit as shown.???  The white wires are the top two sensors and the black wire is the bottom sensor.???  Use screws H6 to attach the sensors.???  Use bolts H7, washers H8, and lock nuts H9 to attach scoring unit to the basketboard P13.

Attach the basketboard assembly to the tubes from the back of the unit.???  Using bolts H3, washers H10, and lock nuts H11.

When attaching the basketboard be sure to insert the bolts through the ramp eyelets, the upright tube and the basketboard.???  Be sure to attach the ramp nets tabs to the lower bolts on the back side of the basketboard.???  The Velcro straps can be used to both tighten the ramp net and to secure the unit when it is folded up for storage.

Slide tube P12 through the bottom of the ramp net and attach to the frame with bolts H1, washers H10, and lock nuts H11.???  Attach hangers P16 to the end of the unit and tighten ramp net P17 with Velcro straps around the hangers.

Be sure to tale the nylon cord P22 through tube P2A.
