| Electronic Shot Clock
Instructions:
Using the electronic scorer - Plug adapter
into the back of the scoring unit.�??�?� The adapter is suitable for 110/120v
household current.�??�?� Make sure the switch in the back of the unit is in
"play" position, not "test."�??�?� If unit has a reset button, the scoring unit
will shut off after five minutes of non-use.�??�?� Restart the game by pressing
the reset button.
Game Operation - Before playing, put switch
on back of the unit to the test position.�??�?� Put ball slowly into the top of
the basket.Ã???Ã??Ã? Should read only when ball is halfway or less into the basket.Ã???Ã??Ã?Â
If there is no reading on the scoring during this test, move the unit to a
different light source.�??�?� The unit should not be in direct sunlight or
halogen lighting.�??�?� Repeat test from the bottom of the basket for the lower
sensor.
Scoreboard - The scoreboard lights up when
game is plugged in.�??�?� Time will show "30" for the time and "00" for the
score.�??�?� To begin, player one starts the match when the first basket is
made.�??�?� Time will start counting down from 30.
Scoring - Each basket player one makes
during the first 20 seconds scores two points.�??�?� During the final 10 seconds,
each basket scores three points.�??�?� Scoreboard will sound each time a basket
is made.
The electronics will fully shut down if not
used for 5 minutes.�??�?� Unit will not start until you press the reset button on
the back of the scoring unit.�??�?� There may be some types of shots that will
not score every time.�??�?� If two balls pass through rim at the same time, it
may not register both shots.�??�?� The unit may also register a shot when a ball
passes quickly in front of the rim.
Additional Warnings:
�??�?� 1�??�?� - Do not climb on game or hang from rim or net.
�??�?� 2�??�?� - Do not dunk the ball.
�??�?� 3�??�?� - Do not climb into ball return ramp (it will not support body weight).
�??�?� 4�??�?� - Do not set game near a water source.
�??�?� 5�??�?� - Do not take shots from more than ten feet.
�??�?� 6�??�?� - Use only the manufacturer power supply.
�??�?� 7�??�?� - Do not lift or move game without checking for overhead electrical
devices.
�??�?� 8�??�?� - Do not face the unit towards sunshine or halogen lamps.
�??�?� 9�??�?� - Do not use this unit outdoors.
10 - Do not place in dirty/dusty conditions.
11 - Do not touch the electronic eyes unless they become dirty.�??�?� If dirty
clean with a dry cotton swab. |
