Matched oversized 3/4" Thick Italian Slate supported on all 4 sides.
k-66 Profile Rubber cushions.
Hand-Rubbed oak furniture finished rails.

Aprons and cross braces are capped with platforms to frame and support each
piece of slate on all four sides.

Other
things to consider when purchasing a pool table. |
One of the biggest problems with buying a pool table is settling on a size. Says Kerry Rhodes, owner of A Better Billiard Supply in Las Cruces, N.M., "The first thing is that a lot of people call up and ask for a regulation table. By BCA specs, anything that meets BCA specs is a regulation table. In a customer's home, the priority in the decision-making process should be, "Are we going to be able to use 58" cues?" A good rule of thumb is to allow 4' 6" on each side of the table. More is better. Less means using shorter cues. Refer to the chart
(found here) to determine how big of a table will fit in the space you have available for it.
